This is a liquid biopsy that counts circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in your blood. It provides a snapshot of cancer activity—how many cancer cells are in circulation and whether the disease is active or progressing.

It’s a helpful, non-invasive way to monitor cancer over time, evaluate treatment response, or detect early relapse.

• What It Measures:
  • Quantifies CTC concentration (cells per mL) in circulation—non-specific to cancer type, excluding primary CNS tumors.
• Related Symptoms: Monitoring known cancer, treatment evaluation, post-remission surveillance
• Specimen Required: 15 - 25 ml blood
• Turnaround Time: 1–2 weeks
